Selection of the Up and Coming Banker of the Year is based on a person's individual achievements in banking, their community involvement, and bank performance. Recipients are presented with the award during the Community Bankers of Iowa's Management Conference and Annual Convention in July.
Up & Coming Banker nominees must meet the following criteria:
1. The nominated banker exemplifies the best in the future of community
banking and is an integral part of their institution's leadership plan.
2. Nominated bankers must work at a bank that is a Member of Community
Bankers of Iowa.
3. Nominations may be submitted by any banker, but must be endorsed by a
member of Senior Management.
4. Nominees should be a member of the Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program,
but it is not a requirement.
