Community Bankers of Iowa is Pleased to Host the 2022 FDIC Directors' College!
The FDIC, in partnership with Community Bankers of Iowa, is pleased to announce the 2022 Directors’ College. This one-day seminar is designed with outside bank directors in mind. The presentations will be delivered by a group of experienced FDIC speakers and subject matter experts, and will include up-to-date information on various issues relevant to all bank directors with an overall theme of risk identification and monitoring.

The purpose of the Directors’ College Program is to educate directors of new banks and re-educate new and veteran directors of existing banks regarding their responsibilities. The Program provides course offerings for directors and officers that are delivered locally by the FDIC's regional offices.
The ultimate goal of the Directors’ Colleges is to improve the likelihood of success for financial institutions by enabling directors to better fulfill their fiduciary obligations and provide a higher level of service to the community served by their institution. Who should attend: Bank executives, officers and outside directors, responsible for and monitoring lending, asset liability and risk management, financial reporting, information technology, and regulatory compliance.
