Community Bankers of Iowa and CBI Endorsed Member Secure Banking Solutions (SBS) have partnered to offer new online Community Banking Certification courses through the SBS Institute. The SBS Institute serves community banks by providing educational programs that will certify that a banker has the knowledge and skills to protect against today's information security threats. These certification programs are uniquely designed to address community banking needs, using community banking problems and solutions. The programs communicate to management, the board, stakeholders, and examiners that a professional can perform the necessary functions to manage and reduce risk to the bank.
Each certificate program contains 7 modules and concludes with an examination following module completion. Qualifying continuing education programs maintain the certification.
